Stress is the leading cause of dis-ease among many. We live in such a go-go-go world where our bodies and minds are easily accessible to stress that it can be hard to counteract it with “doing nothing.”
Restorative yoga helps lower cortisol levels in the body and put your nervous system into more of a parasympathetic (rest & digest) state. In this workshop there will be a discussion on what stress is, what is does, and how you can use holistic practices to relieve stress with the use of essential oils, breathing techniques, and specific restorative poses.
