Pranayama is one of Patanjali’s 8 limbs of yoga. Prana is known as the vital life force energy and supplies oxygen to all the organs and cells of the body. Our mental and emotional states are closely related to the breath. By taking in prana, we are removing the waste products out of our body and mind.
In this workshop we will uncover the different types of breathing methods, their benefits (on a physical and emotional level), and how you can incorporate them in your every day life. This includes a 30min breath exercise and a short meditation to follow.
We will meet in the last parking lot by the baseball fields and walk over to a nice shady area. Bring something to sit on.
